College/Major Listservs, Newsletters, Etc.
 To learn more about a college or major you're considering, you can sign up for specific listservs, newsletters, etc., related to that college/major. If the college/major you're interested in doesn't have any information listed below, contact the department directly.
- Agricultural Sciences
The College of Agricultural Sciences is in the process of developing a listserv specifically for DUS students. Please check back later for more information.
- Arts and Architecture
DUS students can get information about the College of Arts and Architecture from its News Web site and by subscribing to the Arts and Entertainment Penn State Newswire.
- Business (Smeal College)
DUS students can sign up on the Web for the Smeal College listserv for first- and second-year students.
- Communications
DUS students who would like to be added to the College of Communications first-year listserv should contact Debra Thurley after the first ten days of the semester. Students will need to make this request each semester if they wish to remain on the listserv.
- Earth and Mineral Sciences
DUS students may sign up for the Earth and Mineral Sciences listserv by calling the EMS Student Center at 814-863-2751.
- Education
A listserv for DUS students interested in majors in the College of Education is not available.
- Engineering
DUS students can sign up for the College of Engineering's weekly undergraduate e-mail newsletter by following the directions at E-News.
- Health and Human Development
DUS students may sign up for the Health and Human Development listserv by sending an e-mail request to Margaret Sebastianelli.
- Information Sciences and Technology
DUS students can refer to IST2U, a Web site that has replaced the previous IST student listservs.
- Liberal Arts
The College of the Liberal Arts does not have a general college listserv, but some of the departments have listservs for students in the majors. DUS students are welcome to contact the following individuals if they wish to be added to a listserv or mailing list for one or more of these Liberal Arts majors.
The following Liberal Arts majors have online newsletters available.
- Science (Eberly College)
The Eberly College of Science does not have college or major listservs.
