Commission Reports: Academic Advising News

June 2000

The Technology in Advising Commission's Advising Technology Education Center (ATECH) is now up and running. Thanks to our pool of commission Volunteer Network colleagues, resources in such areas as advising web page design and advising terminology are now available, with others still in development. Any NACADA member who wishes to contribute to this resource should contact me. To view our current resources or obtain additional information about the ATECH project, see http://www.psu.edu/dus/ncta/atech.htm.

We invite those who may interested in working on such issues as information systems resources, advising technology education, regional and national conference issues/initiatives, and other critical advising technology issues to join our Volunteer Network. An on-line volunteer registration form is available on our commission web site at http://www.psu.edu/dus/ncta.

Please also remember that the deadline for submissions to our 3rd annual Electronic Publication Award is June 12th. For more information, see the "News" link on our commission web site.
