- Use the eLion Target GPA Prediction application to calculate the average grades (GPA) you'll need in the upcoming semester(s) to qualify for this major. (If you can't log in to eLion, an adviser will help you with this step.) Remember that students typically schedule about fifteen credits per semester and, if attending summer, about six credits per session.
- E-mail the results to yourself, print the e-mail, and bring it with you when you meet with a DUS adviser.
If there are other majors you're considering, repeat this process for each major.
If you're concerned that you might not qualify for this major, use the eLion Alternative Majors application to identify other majors that relate to your interests. Then complete the table above for any alternative majors you're considering.
