Effective fall 1999, Penn State Altoona has administrative authority for shared academic sponsorship of the bachelor of arts degree program in English (ENGL). Under this authorization, Penn State Altoona may offer the program and award the bachelor of arts degree in English. The College of the Liberal Arts will share academic sponsorship and will continue to offer the program and award the degree.
