Advising Updates - Number 90 Penn State Abington Authorized to Award the Bachelor of Arts in English Effective fall 1999, Penn State Abington has administrative authority for shared academic sponsorship of the bachelor of arts degree program in English (ENGL). Under this authorization, Penn State Abington may offer the program and award the bachelor of arts degree in English. The College of the Liberal Arts will continue to offer the program and award the degree and shares academic sponsorship for the program with Abington, Altoona, and Commonwealth colleges.
