Advising Updates - Number 104 Altoona College Authorized to Award the Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Community Human Services Option Effective fall 1999, Altoona College is authorized to offer the Community Human Services option in Human Development and Family Studies (HD FS) and award the bachelor of science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with this option. Altoona College will have administrative authority for shared academic sponsorship of the Community Human Services option. The College of Health and Human Development will share academic sponsorship of this option program with Altoona College and with the Commonwealth College.
