Altoona College: New Offerings in Mathematics
Effective fall 2002, the Altoona College is authorized to offer the following:
- Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics (MTAAL)
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (MTSAL) with the General (GEN) and Systems Analysis (SYANL) options
- Minor in Mathematics (MTHAL)
Penn State Altoona will assume the administrative services for Altoona College Mathematics majors. These services, formerly provided by the Eberly College of Science, include the authority to confer the degrees and minor, maintenance of records, certification of eligibility to enter the majors and minor, and certification of graduation.
