Advising Updates - Number 218 Altoona College to Grant Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Kindergarten Education with the Elementary Education Teaching Option Effective fall 2003, the Altoona College is authorized to grant the Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Kindergarten Education (EEDAL) with the Elementary Education Teaching (EL ED) option. Penn State Altoona will assume the administrative services for Altoona College Education majors. These services, formerly provided by the College of Education, include the authority to confer the degree, maintenance of records, certification of eligibility to enter the major, and certification of graduation.
