What is my Penn State Student Identification Number (PSU ID)?

Your PSU ID is a nine digit number that begins with the number "9," and it is the primary means by which we will identify your student records in our databases. Your PSU ID should have been sent to you along with your offer of admission. If, however, you did not receive your PSU ID or cannot find it, please call FTCAP Operations at 1-814-865-2578 between 8 a.m. and noon or 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Eastern Time. If you call, you will be asked to provide your date of birth, your full middle name, and the city/state of your home address before you will be given your PSU ID number.
