What is the counseling and advising component of FTCAP (i.e. your advising day)?

You will need to participate in a day of academic advising at your campus of admission. This day is the first stage of academic advising for all entering first-year students and provides you with an understanding of your scholastic preparation, academic abilities, and educational interests. As part of this day you will learn about the academic structure and degree programs of the University, and you will have the opportunity to schedule your courses with the assistance of academic advisers. Please note that you will not be scheduled to participate in this activity until you have completed these online placement tests.
