Health & Wellness

Center for Counseling and Psychological Services - provides group and individual counseling, crisis intervention, and psychological and psychiatric evaluations for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as prevention and consultation services for the University community.

Commission for the Prevention of Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Abuse - works on fostering an environment that does not support the abuse of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Through the EAP, employees can receive confidential assistance for a wide range of issues, including parenting concerns, family and relationship issues, alcohol and drug abuse, emotional difficulties, stress-related problems, conflicts at work or home, and other personal concerns.

Environmental Health and Safety - This office is responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and all occupational health and safety programs throughout Penn State's multi-campus system.

Health Matters - Offers a variety of programs for employees to enhance spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and occupational health and well-being.

Milton S. Hershey Medical Center - Penn State's College of Medicine is located at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. As one of only seven academic health centers in Pennsylvania, Hershey Medical Center is located on a 550-acre campus that provides some of the finest medical care anywhere in the world. Educational programs as well as clinical programs and services are provided.

University Health Services - This health care center located at University Park offers primary care to students as well as specialized services such as an on-site laboratory, physical therapy department, x-ray, allergy/immunization clinic, and full service pharmacy. A variety of workshops, programs and patient education materials are also provided. Employees are eligible to purchase products through the pharmacy.

Work/Life Programs - This service assists employees in balancing their professional and personal lives by linking them with programs and services that can help them both attain and maintain this balance.
