As Penn State prepares to award more than 14,000 diplomas to students graduating University-wide, the Penn State family grows to more than 760,000 alumni strong.

A group of Penn State seniors tossed their caps in the air as they posed for graduation photos outside Old Main on the evening of April 27. The spring semester will wrap up on May 1, followed by finals weeks and then commencement ceremonies at Penn State campuses throughout the state May 8 to 10.

"A structure isn't only a structure," said student Caroline Deakins about what she learned on the trip. "It's the intent, what it does for the people, and how it reflects the culture and the necessity."

Class of 2015 announces gift of solar panel array

Penn State's senior class has voted to go green for the second year in a row with 2015's winning class gift option -- the Solar Panel Array. "The solar array will build awareness of our energy-reduction efforts and proclaim Penn State's strong commitment to sustainability and a greener future," said student Tara Bendler.

The Nittany Lion danced, posed for photos and greeted everyone at the Senior Sendoff event at the Hintz Family Alumni Center on April 23.

The Nittany Lion danced, posed for photos and greeted everyone at the Senior Sendoff event at the Hintz Family Alumni Center on April 23. The Lion Ambassadors host the annual event that connects seniors with alumni association affiliate groups and gives students the chance to have a little fun before the end of the semester.
