Senate Policy: 42-94, College-Level Examination Program of the College Board
A current degree candidate or current student who has enrolled or completed at least one course of three credits or more at Penn State interested in receiving credit for CLEP Examinations should arrange for an official score report to be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to the Undergraduate Admissions Office. The Director of Admissions is responsible for evaluating such reports and awarding credit. If credit is awarded a candidate's University record carries notation of credit, but no grade is recorded. Credit acquired in this manner does not affect a candidate's grade point average at this University.
The schedule of credit which may be earned through CLEP Examinations may be obtained from the admissions office. This schedule also appears in the Baccalaureate Degree Programs Bulletin. (Ref: Senate Policy 42-94)
