- An entry interview with the candidate, the faculty mentor, and members of the Bachelor of Philosophy committee is required for admission to the program. The preliminary interview provides an opportunity for the candidate to discuss the Bachelor of Philosophy and the unique circumstances that justify entry.
- Second-, third-, and fourth-semester students may apply. Exceptions may be approved by the Bachelor of Philosophy faculty chair.
- Evidence of successful completion of previous university-level course work is required. In addition, the committee will consider the applicant’s cumulative grade-point average as an indicator of academic performance and responsibility. Applicants should possess the ability to perform at a 3.0 minimum level.
- The admissions committee must approve the student's program.
