Air Force ROTC

Programs and Services: The Pennsylvania State University Air Force ROTC is an educational program designed to prepare undergraduate students for a commission in the Air Force while earning their baccalaureate degree. The Air Force ROTC program consists of: University major, general military courses, professional officer courses, Air Force leadership laboratory and field training. The education and experience gained through the program prepares future Air Force leaders for the year 2000 and beyond. Four, three, and two year scholarships are available to selected applicants.

Army ROTC

Programs and Services: The Pennsylvania State University Army ROTC program is designed to teach leadership in preparing college students to become commissioned in the United States Army active forces, reserve forces, or the Pennsylvania National Guard upon graduation. The instructional program consists of four parts: University major curriculum, Army specified ROTC courses, Army specified professional development courses and an Army specified summer training at Fort Lewis, WA. The program is designed to develop leaders to standards of 16 Leadership Dimensions and provide each commissioned officer the fundamental concepts and principles necessary to become successful Army officers or civilian leaders.

Full tuition scholarships are available to selected applicants.

Naval ROTC

Programs and Services: The Pennsylvania State University Naval ROTC program is designed to prepare undergraduate students for a commission in the Navy or Marine Corps while they earn their baccalaureate degree. The instructional program consists of four parts: University major curriculum, Navy specified university courses, Navy professional academic courses, and Navy professional training. This program ensures that all Naval ROTC graduates have a common understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of Naval Science. Scholarships are available to selected applicants.
