Registration at University Park
After you receive permission to change your campus location to University Park, it is important that you register for courses at University Park as soon as possible. First, you should discuss course selection with an adviser. This advanced planning can save time and reduce frustration once you reach University Park. Your course schedule should correspond to the degree requirements of your intended major. If you need information from your college and department at University Park, you may contact the college representative at your campus or the department office at University Park either on your own or with the assistance of your adviser.
The first date on which you may register depends on your total credits earned in previous semesters plus the credits for which you are currently registered. The University Park registration timetable and detailed registration instructions are available on the Registrar's Web site (www.registrar.psu.edu). Failure to register prior to the beginning of classes may keep you from getting the courses you need for your degree program, and it may result in a late registration fee charge. You may drop and/or add courses until the end of the add and drop periods for the semester.
