To improve processes of the Research Proposal Information System (RPIS) designed to aid in the production of and tracking of research proposals submitted to external funding agencies.

  • System set-up in the Access database form
  • One person, instead of three, enter the data, in the pre-award stage so the other two workers are now free to perform other office support tasks
  • This process expedites the pre-proposal stage for the faculty and has saved 45% of one full-time position or a cost savings of $18,121
