Objective

The Web-based planning and reporting system was developed for cooperative extension's five-year Plan of Work. This sophisticated system, accessed through the Internet, captures different types of information from field-based educators and faculty that is used to satisfy the requirements for local, state, and federal reporting as well as to inform cooperative extension's many constituents of programs and their impact.

Results Achieved to Date

  • No substantial measures; subjectively there is more information, it is more available, and it is easier to aggregate for required reports. The system is continuously updated and improved as feedback is received from users. There is a 5-year assessment cycle; the 1999 review led to this system; the next one will be in 2004.
