Objective
Explore the depth and breadth of assessment activities in Undergraduate Education at Penn State, discover new methods and directions, develop a plan to nurture the most successful methods and use all modes of communication to bring them to the learning community.Expected Results: Based on the work of the team and reports from faculty focus groups, the team recommended a plan of action for using information to improve learning. Priorities were set by ease of implementation and impact in several areas: consulting services, tools and resources, research, development of assessment informatics, collaboration, communication and recognition of teaching excellence.
