Objective

With the Web Counselor System (WCS), high school counselors submit applicant credentials over the Web and fax transcripts to the Undergraduate Admissions Office document imaging system, the final link of a complete paperless application to Penn State. Partnership with six Pennsylvania high schools began in October 2002. In its second year, the Web Counselor System has now expanded to over 100 schools including the entire Pittsburgh School District and out-of-state high schools. In addition to ease in submitting credentials, high school counselors have immediate on-line access to applicant status of admission decisions from Penn State.
