Objective

The staff of the Office of Health Promotion & Education will assess their current capacity of incorporating the American College Health Association Standards of Practice for Health Promotion in Higher Education into their health promotion practice at University Health Services.

ExpectedResults: Individual staff will demostrate "experience" in each of the six standards. Experience is rated as 3 on a five-point scale. Staff as a group will assess the department as "reflecting" each of the standards. Reflect is rated as 2 on a four-point scale. The goal of the project is: individual scores will = 3.3 >; program scores = 2.5>.

The model, "Vision into Action" (American College Health Association, 20054) is used to support the group assessment and development goals. BEnchmarking regarding use of this model was conducted. Team members completed assessment and determined to develop plans based on the Integration ith the following Standards: 1) Learning Mission of Higher Education and 2) Collaborative Practice.
