Team # 803 -- Effectiveness of the Alcohol Intervention Project Team
Student Affairs

September 2006

Objective

To determine if the Alcohol Intervention Program (AIP) effectively reduced the reported amount of alcohol consumption and the frequency of drinking. The goal is to lower high risk drinking behaviors.

Team Membership

  • Diana Ramos, Leader
  • Susan Kennedy, Member

Results Achieved to Date

  • ExpectedResults: Students who participate in AIP are asked to complete a pre and post-survey. The follow-up survey repeats many of the questions asked in the initial alcohol assessment. Two indicators from the pre and post survey will be compared to determine program effectiveness: amount of alcohol consumed during a drinking episode; frequency of alcohol consumed over a one-month period.
