Objective

To gather information for an educational peer review relating to the incidence and treatment of pneumonia complications in University Health Services patients with a diagnosis of Novel H1N1 or influenza-like illness (ILI).

Results Achieved to Date

  • ExpectedResults: The goal is to compare against clinical practice standards, such as Association of Family Practice or UpToDate, the identification and treatment of pneumonia by UHS clinicians.
    We will review for the complication of pneumonia all patient records containing a diagnosis of Novel H1N1 or influenza-like illness (ILI) in Fall 2009 semester.
