Verify & Document Results

In this step you verify and document results. Essentially you decide if improvement has in fact occurred. Once that has been established, you need to have a plan for monitoring your success.

Questions to ask:

1. Have the causes to the problem been eliminated or decreased?
2. Are there clear indicators of improvement?
3. Have you asked your customers if they are satisfied with the results of the improvements?
