1.3 Improve Key Student Transition Experiences (Year 1: 2009-2010)
A Student Transitions Steering Committee was formed and jointly charged by the Deans and Vice Presidents for Undergraduate Education, Commonwealth Campuses, and Student Affairs. A University Park campus visitation day was established for those students planning or considering moving to University Park, and an expanded ‘transition day’ orientation was held the day before classes began for those students actually changing assignment to University Park. A Web site is being developed to provide information and resources for those students considering a change of campus.
