3.4 Infuse International Topics and Experiences into Instruction (Year 2: 2010-2011)
A number of colleges and campuses have infused international topics into their teaching and offer events with international performing artists or speakers. Several campuses are welcoming international students and have international student clubs. As one example, Penn State New Kensington focuses on a country of the year for the academic year. Another example is, in World on Trial, Dickinson School of Law partners with over 20 leading universities worldwide. Additionally, Penn State is a member of the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), an international alliance of 16 leading research universities To share best practices across the University and help bring global topics and experiences to all of Penn State's students, the Office of Global Programs offers workshops for faculty and staff.
