Priorities for Excellence: The Penn State Strategic Plan, 2009-10 through 2013-14 identifies goals and strategies related to efficiencies and cost savings in academic and administrative units. Goal 2 of the plan recommends a targeted review of selected academic and administrative programs to identify opportunities for improving quality, reducing redundancies and decreasing costs. Goal 7 of the plan addresses the need to control costs and generate greater efficiencies and promotes a commitment to cost containment and continuous improvement.

The Academic Program and Administrative Services Review Core Council chaired by Executive Vice President and Provost Rodney Erickson is interested in receiving your suggestions for how Penn State can be more efficient, cut costs, and maintain quality.
