Katryn Boynton provides staff support to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and the Assistant to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. She also provides clerical support for several programs and committees, including the Administrative Fellows Program, Academic Leadership Forum, executive search committees, the University Promotion and Tenure Review Committee, and Administrative Review Committees (AD-14).

Skilled in computer use and Web development, Katryn maintains a Web site for the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. She has completed seminars in Web publishing and Web development software and attends annual conferences for Web professionals at Penn State.

Before joining the Provost’s Office in 1997, Katryn served in the University Budget Office and the Board of Trustees Office at Penn State. She previously worked as Secretary to the Director of Research at North American Refractories in State College, Pennsylvania and as a School Secretary at Southern Senior High School in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Harwood, Maryland.
