Information for Exhibitors & Volunteers

We have successfully filled the South Annex with science exhibitors on Exploration Day! We have more than 40 exhibitors and expect about 2000 attendees. Contact Heather Nelson if you have questions or need assistance.
Exhibitor Booths and Signs: Tables are 6' in length. Click here for a Map of Exhibitor Booths. Every table will be provided with a red, white or blue plastic tablecloth and each exhibit will also have balloons. Each group will have a 20"x30" printed sign that will stand on an easel or be posted behind their exhibit, so that attendees know what group you represent.
Event Schedule: Exploration Day starts at 10:00am on Saturday, April 18th. We ask that all volunteers arrive at 7:45am and all exhibitors arrive between 8:00am and 8:30am. We will have an all-hands meeting at 9:30am to discuss the schedule for the day and the prizes that each child will have an opportunity to earn throughout the day. We ask that all exhibitors remain until 3:00pm. When you arrive PLEASE CHECK IN AT THE WELCOME TABLE to receive your packet of materials.
Parking, Loading/Unloading, Set-up: The parking lot immediately adjacent to the South Annex will be available to exhibitors for loading and unloading and for VERY limited parking throughout the day (see map below). When you arrive at the Bryce Jordan Center we ask that your group check in at the Welcome Table. You will be given 1-2 red parking passes for your group. These can be used to park in the South Lot for the whole day. All other people in your group will need to park in the lot next to the Mezzanine Entrance on the east side of the BJC. Also at the Welcome Table your group leader will be given materials that you will need throughout the day including things that you requested on the online Exhibitor Form (tri-fold display, easel, TV, foamcore).
Food: Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all exhibitors and volunteers during the day in the "Green Room". You MUST have a green lunch ticket to redeem it for your boxed lunch. Breakfast will be set-up from 7:30-10:00am and lunch will be from 11:30-1:30.
