Office of Student Aid : Applying for Student Aid 2008-09 : 4-Step Application Process : Confirm FAFSA Information

After the Department of Education receives your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), your application will be processed and forwarded to Penn State's Office of Student Aid. We will review it and contact you if more information is needed. Please respond promptly to any requests for additional information or documentation.

After you submit your FAFSA, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). If you included a valid e-mail address, you will receive an e-mail message asking you to retrieve your SAR online and review the information. If necessary, make corrections through the FAFSA Web site and keep a printed copy for your records.
