First-year students typically attend the second summer session. Refunds are available—at the earliest—on the first day of the second session.

• Sign up for the Rapid Refund Program (if you have not done so already) by accessing Refund Information from the Students menu on eLion to have your refund directly deposited into a bank account.
• Remember to confirm your registration. If you are expecting a refund, it will not be generated until you confirm your registration on your summer session(s) eBill.
• Please note: Typically PHEAA does not send the Summer Pennsylvania State Grant funds to Penn State until the end of July. You should not depend on this grant to pay for out-of-pocket expenses.
