Office of Student Aid : E-access : Know Your PIN

Know Your Federal Student Aid PIN (Personal Identification Number)

Important: Requesting a Federal Student Aid PIN (Personal Identification Number) for someone other than yourself or using a PIN that is not yours is a serious matter and infringes on privacy rights. Please carefully review U. S. Department of Education PIN Requirements.

Students and parents--apply for a PIN online. If you are a dependent student, you and your parents will need individual PIN numbers to electronically sign the FAFSA.

You can use your PIN each year to complete the FAFSA on the Web, view loan history and repayment information, and e-sign loan applications.

Access the PIN Web site to apply for a PIN, disable your PIN, re-establish your PIN, change your PIN, request a duplicate PIN, change your address, check your PIN status, or activate your PIN.
