Welcome
Within these pages, we will inform you about pressing issues and provide you with general information and updates related to financial aid.
Receiving a Refund
A credit occurs on a student's account when payments or student financial aid exceed the semester charges. A credit can also occur based on an adjustment to a student's charges. The Bursar's office will issue a refund for the credit, and the fastest way for students to receive their refunds is by opting for Rapid Refund.
Student Loan Decreases
Students sometimes decide to cancel or decrease their Federal Stafford, Federal Perkins, or University Loans. They can easily accomplish this by selecting the Loan Decrease option from the "Students" menu on eLion.
Student Credit Cards
College students are inundated with offers from credit card companies. They offer gifts for applying, low introductory interest rates, and pre-approved credit limits. College students are definitely courted by the lending industry, and the allure of "buy now--pay later" could tempt even the most financially prudent undergraduate.
Bill Payment Options
The fall eBill notices are rolling and tuition bill payments are due beginning on August 10, 2007. A number of options are available for making your student's payment including the eCheck option, which is available on eLion.
