Electronic Tuition Bills: Accessing, Viewing, and Paying
As of fall 2006, tuition bills became "paperless." Students can view and/or pay their eBills on eLion by selecting Bills Tuition/Other from the "Students" menu. Notice of bill availability will be e-mailed to your student's Penn State e-mail account.
Students may authorize parents and others to have access to their Bursar financial information. With your student's authorization, you can access his or her Tuition Bill, Bursar Account, and Hope/Lifetime Tax Credit information electronically on eLion. To gain access, you will first need to create a Friends of Penn State (FPS) account, which you can request on the Bursar's Web site. After you have the FPS account, you can then provide your student with your user ID, and he or she can grant you access to any or all of the three eLion Bursar menu options.
Additionally, the Bursar's office offers the option to pay by eCheck. It is a fast and secure method to pay balances from a checking account, and there is no charge to pay by eCheck.
To access detailed information about the eBill, eCheck, and parent/other access to Bursar information, please reference the Bursar's Web site.
