Utilizing Your Campus Aid Office
Penn State’s multi-campus network is comprised of 20 campuses, each with its own administrative offices and staff. Although you might be most familiar with the Office of Student Aid at University Park, each Penn State campus has its own student financial aid office.
Campus Aid Representatives provide professional counseling on scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs. The Office of Student Aid at University Park processes student aid centrally for Penn State students across all campuses. However, the student aid professional at the campus your student attends is well equipped with all student aid information and can access the same records that the staff at University Park utilize.
In most cases, we encourage students and families to work directly with the aid office at the Penn State campus the student is attending. If the aid representative at your student's campus is not available, the staff at University Park can assist you.
It is important that students stay as connected as possible with the aid office at their campus. All Penn State campuses award University Scholarships to eligible students based on academic performance, SAT scores, financial need as determined by the FAFSA, leadership, and community service. Campus-specific scholarship opportunities are often announced on campus Web sites. Additional information about Penn State campus scholarships is available on our Web site.
