The United States Department of Education houses a wealth of information regarding student financial aid on its Web site. You can link to publications regarding the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), an explanation of the formula for the Expected Family Contribution (EFC), general guides to student aid, and other helpful student information.

We encourage you and your student to browse the site, review the Publications section under Site Resources, and take the opportunity to learn more about federal student financial aid.
