Notifying Penn State of a Private Scholarship

  • If you receive scholarships or any type of educational funds from private organizations, notify the Office of Loans and Scholarships.
  • Checks for private scholarships should be sent to the Office of Loans and Scholarships, 108 Shields Building, University Park, PA 16802.
  • The funds will be credited to your Bursar account and applied toward institutional charges, such as tuition, fees, and room and meals. Any excess funds will be refunded to you for living expenses.
