The Board of Trustees of The Pennsylvania State University is the corporate body established by the charter with complete responsibility for the government and welfare of the University and all the interests pertaining thereto including students, faculty, staff and alumni. Election Of Trustees Begins In January

Election processes for the Board of Trustees of The Pennsylvania State University will begin in the new year. Three alumni trustees are elected, three each year for three-year terms. Beginning on January 15, nominating ballots are automatically sent if:

Undergraduate students who are currently enrolled at the University are not eligible to participate in the election.

If you do not meet the above criteria, you must request a ballot. After you have submitted your request, please allow a 24-hour response time. Forms will be processed Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Eastern)

Upon qualification of your alumni record, a ballot link and credentials will be sent to you via e-mail from PSU Board of Trustees noreply@votenet.com. Be sure to check your SPAM and JUNK MAIL folders.

Once you have received the nomination ballot (January 15), you will automatically receive the election ballot (April 10). There is no need to send another request for an election ballot.

The nomination phase of the election begins on January 15 and continues until 5:00 p.m. (Eastern) on February 25. Election ballots will be available beginning April 10, and the election will close at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern) on May 7.

Petitions for candidacy will not be accepted by the University. Candidates' names will be placed on the election ballot who complete the following:

Upon conclusion of the election on May 7, the ballots are tabulated and the three candidates receiving the highest number of votes are declared elected.
