Roger A. Madigan
Retired State Senator, 23rd Senatorial District
Mr. Madigan, a graduate of Penn State in 1951 with a B.S. in dairy production - agriculture, served as State Representative in the General Assembly from the 110th district until 1984 when he was elected a State Senator representing the 23rd Senatorial District. He retired in 2009.
In 1979 he was appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees to fill an unexpired term. He was elected by the delegates from agricultural societies in 1980 and was reelected for succeeding terms until July 2001.
In 2003, Senator Madigan was named a Distinguished Alumnus of the University.
The title of Trustee Emeritus was conferred upon Senator Madigan in September 2001.
