Alice W. Pope

Alice Pope was elected to the Board of Trustees by the Alumni in July 2014. She earned three Penn State degrees in Psychology from the College of the Liberal Arts – a B.A. in 1979, an M.S. in 1983 and a Ph.D. in 1986. She has spent her career in higher education, and she is currently an associate professor of psychology at St. John’s University in New York City. Dr. Pope’s research in child psychology is focused on developmental psychopathology, children’s peer relations, and social cognitions.
