Two Trustees are elected each year to The Pennsylvania State University Board of Trustees by delegates of registered organized Agricultural Societies in the Commonwealth for three-year terms beginning July 1.
Delegates of registered Agricultural Societies must register at the Registration Desk in Deans Hall of The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel between 10:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013. The election will be conducted at 12:45 p.m.
In an effort to raise the visibility of the election and to promote participation, all interested candidates as of February 25, 2013 were invited to submit a photo, a biographical statement and a position statement.
Nominations will be required for all Trustee candidates on the day of the election; additional nominations of candidates not included on this website may be made on the day of the election.
All candidates for election to the position of Trustee must be a member of an agricultural society. The nominator of a Trustee candidate must be a registered delegate representing a registered organization.
