The following new entrance to major
requirements have been approved by the Standing Subcommittee on
Retention and Transfer:

Major in Business Administration (BBACC), B.S. degree, Commonwealth
College
--effective Summer Session 2006
Entrance to the Business Administration major requires the
completion of MATH 022 GQ(3) or higher [MATH 040 GQ(5), MATH 041 GQ(3), MATH 110 GQ(4),
MATH 140 GQ(4)]
Major in Business (XXXXX), B.S. degree,
--effective Summer Session 2005 [or upon approval of program]
Entrance to the Business major requires the:
(1) Completion of at least 60 credits.
(2) Cumulative Grade point average of 2.0 or greater.
(3) Completion of all of the following courses: ACCTG 211(4); ECON 002 GS(3) or ECON 004
GS(3); IST 110 GS(3), or CMPSC 203 GQ(4) and M I S 204(2); MS&IS 200(4) or
STAT 200 GQ(4); CAS 100 GWS(3); and MATH
022 GQ(3), MATH 110 GQ(4) or MATH 140 GQ(4)].
The following changes in entrance to major requirements
have been approved by the Standing Subcommittee on Retention and Transfer:
Major in Turfgrass Science, B.S. degree,
--effective Summer Session 2005
OLD:
A student wishing to transfer into the Turfgrass Science program must have
completed CHEM 012 GN(3) and CHEM 013 GN(3) or CHEM 034(3) for a total of six
credits and received a grade of C or better in each course prior to declaring
the major.
NEW:
A student wishing to transfer into the Turfgrass Science program must have
completed CHEM 011 GN(3) or CHEM 012 GN(3) and CHEM 034(3) for a total
of six credits and received a grade of C or better in each course prior to
declaring the major.
Major in Theatre (THRBA), B.A. degree, College of Arts
and Architecture
--effective Fall Semester 2005
OLD:
For the B.A. degree in Theatre, a minimum of 120 credits is required.
NEW:
Entrance criteria to this major include an audition or interview with members of the Theatre faculty.
For the B.A. degree in Theatre, a minimum of 120 credits is required.
Major in Information Systems (INFSY), B.S. degree, Capital
College

entry-to-major courses: ENGL 015 GWS(3) or ENGL 030 GWS(3), MATH 110 GQ(4) or
