Tickets Available for Terry McMillan’s Feb. 29 Speech

University Park, Pa. – Tickets for best-selling novelist Terry McMillan’s Feb. 29 speech are available at the Eisenhower Auditorium ticket box office. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

The general public may pick up any remaining tickets beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 23 on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets may also be available the night of the speech. The Eisenhower box office is open from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

McMillan’s novel "Waiting to Exhale" was published in 1992 and remained on The New York Times’ bestseller list for 38 weeks. She also co-wrote the screenplay for the movie version, which was released in 1995. Her most recent novel, "How Stella Got Her Groove Back," published in 1996, was also a New York Times bestseller, remaining on the list for 21 weeks.
