NEWSWIRE SUBSCRIBERS HAVE MORE CHOICES NOW

The Penn State NewsWires now have about 17,000 subscribers from 40 different countries, including subscriptions to the daily edition, the science/technology edition and the weekly student NewsWire.

If you do nothing, you will continue to receive the daily Penn State NewsWire, and those who receive the Penn State Employee NewsWire will also continue to receive that wire.

However, science and technology news will now appear on the daily NewsWire as briefs with Web links to the full story. Those who would like to continue receiving the full stories need to go to the Subscription Page and sign up for the Penn State Science and Technology NewsWire, which will be delivered several times a month.

Students who have been receiving the daily NewsWire may also want to subscribe to the weekly Penn State Student NewsWire, which often has information about academic deadlines and has more campus coverage.

New to NewsWire is the Penn State Sports NewsWire. Beginning in March, it will be distributed a couple of times a month, but you can begin to subscribe to it today on the Subscription Page.
