Take A Trip To The Pittsburgh Opera

University Park, Pa. – Opera lovers can sign up now for a bus trip to the Pittsburgh Opera to see Giuseppe Verdi’s "La Traviata," which will take place on Sunday, April 16. A chartered bus will depart from Rec Hall on the University Park campus at 8:30 a.m. and will return around 10 p.m. Special discounted tickets of $16 per person are available on a first-come, first-served basis through Feb. 29. The ticket includes an introductory talk about the opera and a backstage tour if time permits. The trip is being organized by the Department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese and the Italian Club.
