PENN STATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES MAY 11-13
The University Park campus will hold its spring 2001 commencement ceremonies for approximately 6,250 associate, baccalaureate and graduate degree students the weekend of May 11-May 13.
As of mid-April, 6,254 students are scheduled to receive degrees at the University Park ceremonies. That figure includes 18 associate, 5,326 baccalaureate, 710 masters, and 200 doctoral degree students. Systemwide, Penn State will graduate a total of 8,766 students approximately 710 with associate degrees, 6,562 baccalaureate degrees, 1,224 graduate degrees, 98 medical degrees, 8 masters of law degrees and 164 juris doctorate degrees.

HONORARY DEGREES AT COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES
University Park, Pa Penn State will award three honorary degrees at its 2001 spring commencement ceremonies. Recipients are:
SCHOLARS HONORED AT MEDALS CEREMONY
University Park, Pa. Penn States Schreyer Honors College will hold a medals commencement ceremony for over 320 graduates who have successfully completed the requirements to earn an honors diploma on Friday, May 11, at 5 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium.
ROTC CEREMONIES TO HONOR STUDENTS
University Park, Pa. The Army, Naval and Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) will hold their annual joint services ROTC awards day ceremony at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 27, in Schwab Auditorium. This ceremony is held annually to honor cadets, midshipmen and officer candidates within the ROTC program who have excelled during the past year.
