Penn State is connecting Pennsylvania to the future through information technology.
AMERICA WILL NEED an additional 1 million information technology professionals by 2005. To meet this demand--and to help ensure Pennsylvanias leadership in the information age--Penn State has established the School of Information Sciences and Technology (IST). The University has developed strategic partnerships with Pennsylvania-based companies and public agencies to make sure that IST graduates have the practical training and the teamwork, communications, and critical thinking skills needed by the Commonwealths employers.

Penn State offers graduate studies that are essential for many professions.
GRADUATE DEGREES are "entry tickets" for leadership positions in the sciences, engineering, business, the arts, and more. Penn State offers about 150 graduate-degree programs--more than any other university in Pennsylvania. These programs enroll 10,000 students each year at six Penn State locations, including the College of Medicine at Hershey and the Dickinson School of Law at Carlisle.
