Pennsylvanians can take pride in Penn State athletics.

PENN STATE IS A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED model for successfully combining academics and athletics. Men’s and women’s teams have won more than forty national titles, while the graduation rate for student-athletes (78 percent) consistently exceeds the national norm (58 percent). Penn State athletics is also an economic generator--the Nittany Lion home football schedule alone adds more than $30 million to Centre County’s economy, plus additional millions statewide.

Penn State’s library system makes information resources available statewide.

ALL PENNSYLVANIANS--not just Penn State students--may access books, periodicals, and other information resources in the University Libraries at any Penn State campus. Penn State maintains the nation’s twelfth-largest academic library.
