Penn State President To Address Character, Conscience And Citizenship

University Park, Pa. -- Just what is a university's role in developing character, conscience, and citizenship in young adults? And what impact does excessive drinking by students have on these values?

In the second of his monthly radio call-in programs, Penn State President Graham Spanier will discuss with callers the subject of character, conscience and citizenship. The live program, "To The Best Of My Knowledge," will air on public radio station WPSU, 90.1, 91.5 , 106.7, on Wednesday, October 9 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Hosted by Patty Satalia, the series is designed to explore topics of concern to the University and community and allow listeners a chance to speak one-on-one with Penn State's President. Listeners can call 1-800-543-8242 during the hour-long program to participate in the dialogue.
