Electronic test being touted as
"breakthrough" for Smeal College
The Smeal College of Business Administration has pilot tested an electronic
exam that promises to beat a serious numbers crunch, while helping to assure
academic fairness at the same time.

Faculty members Gerald and Elizabeth Susman will co-chair
the faculty/staff initiative of Penn State's forthcoming capital campaign.
Athletics undergoing NCAA certification
The University has embarked on a yearlong, campus-wide effort to study its
athletics program as part of the NCAA Division I athletics certification
program. Specific areas the study will cover are academic and financial
integrity, and rules compliance, as well as a commitment to equity.
